As part of the process, couples who decide to pursue marriage are guided to enter into a marriage contract, which is considered a sacred covenant in Islam. This contract solemnizes the spiritual and physical connection between a man and a woman, outlining their rights and responsibilities within the marriage.<\/p>\n

In addition to matchmaking, we provide marriage certificates for couples who marry through our services, ensuring that the union is recognized and valid in accordance with Islamic law. The Nikah ceremony, which formalizes the marriage in Islam, is built upon four major components:<\/p>\n

1. Bride and Groom<\/strong>: The consent of both the groom and the bride is essential for a valid and successful Nikah. Both parties must willingly agree to the union.<\/p>\n

2. Wali (Guardian)<\/strong>: The presence of a wali, or male guardian, is a requirement for a marriage to be valid. A woman cannot marry without the approval and involvement of her wali. The wali is typically a close male relative, such as the bride\u2019s father, brother, grandfather, or paternal uncle. Without a wali, the marriage is considered invalid.<\/p>\n

3. Mahr (Dowry)<\/strong>: Mahr is a mandatory gift from the groom to the bride, which she is free to use or keep as she wishes. It is her right, and no one including her parents or family can claim any part of the Mahr. The amount and type of Mahr are decided by the bride, ensuring it is her right.<\/p>\n

4. Witnesses<\/strong>: To ensure the marriage is conducted openly and with mutual consent, two male witnesses must be present at the time of the Nikah. These witnesses should be adults who have reached the age of maturity. The Prophet Muhammad (\ufdfa)<\/span> stated, \u201cThere is no marriage except with witnesses.\u201d It is also important to publicly announce the marriage after the ceremony to confirm the union within the community.<\/p>\n

These key components are essential in ensuring that the Nikah is valid and in accordance with Islamic principles.<\/p>\n

The Walimah celebration is a Sunnah (tradition) of our beloved Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) and holds great significance in Islam. It serves as an expression of gratitude, joy, and a public announcement of the marriage. The Walimah is encouraged to be a means of sharing happiness and inviting others to celebrate the union.<\/p>\n

When a Walima is held, invitations should be extended to family members, relatives, friends, colleagues, scholars, pious individuals, and others in the community. It is important not to limit invitations to only the wealthy or elite. Islam encourages inclusivity, and all should be welcomed to partake in the celebration.<\/p>\n

In Islam, it is emphasized that accepting an invitation to a Walima is important, and refusing it without a valid reason is considered sinful. When one accepts the invitation and attends the event, they have fulfilled their duty, regardless of whether they eat. However, it is preferable to partake in the meal, especially if one is not fasting. The act of attending and sharing in the joy of the occasion is highly valued in Islam.<\/p>\n
