About Our Elementary

Grade Levels:

  • Grades 1-5

Academic Programs:

  • -Mathematics: Focus on building a strong foundation in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and problem-solving techniques.
  • – Science: Hands-on exploration of the natural world, with age-appropriate topics like plants, animals, weather, and the environment.
  • – Social Studies: Introduce students to history, geography, and cultural studies, helping them understand their role in the world around them.
  • – English Language Arts: Develop essential reading, writing, and communication skills, focusing on phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing.
  • – Arabic: Enhance understanding of the Arabic language with a focus on comprehension and writing.
  • – Islamic Studies: Introduce young learners to the basics of Islam, including the pillars of faith, the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and Islamic values such as kindness, respect, and honesty.
  • – Quran: Begin the process of Quranic learning through memorization, understanding simple meanings (Tafsir), and basic recitation skills.
  • – Physical Education: Encourage physical activity, teamwork, and healthy habits through games, sports, and fitness activities.
  • – Health Education: Teach the importance of hygiene, nutrition, emotional well-being, and making healthy choices.

Islamic Education Focus:

Our Islamic studies program is integrated into the daily life of the students, helping them grow in faith while learning core academic subjects. Students are encouraged to embody Islamic values such as honesty, patience, gratitude, and respect for others in all aspects of their school life.

Admissions Information

Are you interested in joining our middle school? Here’s how to apply:

Pre-Admission Requirements

  • All students coming from outside of the USA are required to take a placement test, prior to the first day of school.

Application Process: Click on the link below labeled ‘Register Now.’ Afterwards, please submit the following to the main office:

  • New student application form
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Release of records form (for grades 1st to 12th only)

If your child is accepted and seats are available, you will be notified and required to submit the following within two weeks of notification.

  • Registration Packet
  • Complete immunization record
  • Annual physical report (Please use the Universal Child Health Record Form provided in this packet)

Eligibility: Students must have completed Grade 5 and meet our academic and behavioral criteria.

  • Weekly Newsletters: Sent every Friday with updates on school activities and announcements.
  • Parent Portal (Gradelink): Access grades, homework assignments, and school notices.
  • Parent-Teacher Communication: We encourage regular meetings with teachers to discuss your child’s development.
Important Information:

Any policy that the school adopts, anytime thereafter, will be considered accepted after ten business days or when amendments are provided to parents/guardians. Please post any objections before the end of the ten days. Should parents/guardians choose not to accept the policy or object to the amendments for any reason, Madarasatu Ahlis Sunnah reserves the right to prohibit the student from attending the school until the parent/guardian withdraws the student or accepts the school policy in writing.
