About Our High School
Grade Levels:
- Grades 9-12
Academic Programs:
- -Mathematics: Advanced courses such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics that prepare students for college-level studies.
- -Science: In-depth study of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science with practical laboratory work and research opportunities.
- -English Language Arts: Develop advanced reading, writing, and literary analysis skills through a diverse range of classical and contemporary texts.
- -Social Studies: Courses in World History, Geography, Economics, Government, and Psychology, fostering global awareness and civic responsibility.
- – Arabic: Continued focus on proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic with an emphasis on understanding classical texts and modern applications.
- – Islamic Studies: Explore the Qur’an, Hadith, Islamic history, jurisprudence (Fiqh), and ethical teachings, with a focus on applying these principles to contemporary life.
- – Quran: Advanced Quran memorization and Tafsir (interpretation), with an emphasis on understanding the deeper meanings and applying them in daily life.
- – Physical Education: Promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship through physical activity and wellness education.
- – Health Education: Focus on mental health, nutrition, and well-being, teaching students how to make informed and responsible decisions regarding their health.
Islamic Education Focus:
In high school, students continue to deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings while developing their personal connection to their faith. Through Quranic studies, Fiqh, and Islamic history, students are guided in integrating Islamic values into their academic pursuits and daily lives.

Pre-Admission Requirements
- – All students coming from outside of the USA are required to take a placement test, before the first day of school.
- – Grades 6th to 12th applications will be interviewed.
Application Process: Click on the link below labeled ‘Register Now.’ Afterwards, please submit the following to the main office:
- – New student application form
- – Copy of birth certificate
- – Release of records form (for grades 1st to 12th only)
If your child is accepted and seats are available, you will be notified and required to submit the following within two weeks of notification.
- – Registration Packet
- – Complete immunization record
- – Annual physical report (Please use the Universal Child Health Record Form provided in this packet)
Eligibility: Students must have completed Grade 5 and meet our academic and behavioral criteria.

Parent Resources
We believe in strong communication between the school and our families. Parents can easily stay updated on their child’s academic progress and school events through:
- Weekly Newsletters: Sent every Friday with updates on school activities and announcements.
- Parent Portal (Gradelink): Access grades, homework assignments, and school notices.
- Parent-Teacher Communication: We encourage regular meetings with teachers to discuss your child’s development.
Important Information:
Any policy that the school adopts, anytime thereafter, will be considered accepted after ten business days or when amendments are provided to parents/guardians. Please post any objections before the end of the ten days. Should parents/guardians choose not to accept the policy or object to the amendments for any reason, Madarasatu Ahlis Sunnah reserves the right to prohibit the student from attending the school until the parent/guardian withdraws the student or accepts the school policy in writing.
