Ramadaan Events at Masjid Ahlis Sunnah
At Masjidu Ahlis Sunnah, our Ramadan events bring the community together in worship, learning, and fellowship. From nightly Taraweeh prayers and daily iftar meals to youth activities, lectures, and charity drives, we provide programs for all ages to benefit from the blessings of this sacred month. Everyone is welcome to participate and share in the spirit of Ramadan.
Lectures and Ramadan Workshops
Throughout the month, we host lectures and workshops focusing on various aspects of Ramadan, including the importance of fasting, the benefits of reflection, and the virtues of increasing worship during this time. These events aim to deepen understanding and enhance the spiritual experience of Ramadan.
Charity and Community Service
Ramadan is a time for giving, and we encourage everyone to contribute to charitable efforts. We organize food and charity drives, offering an opportunity to support those in need, both locally and globally, in the spirit of generosity and compassion.
Daily Iftar Gatherings
Throughout Ramadan, we provide a communal Iftar meal after the Maghrib prayer. This Iftar is open to everyone, offering a chance for the community to come together and break their fast in a spirit of unity and reflection.
Taraweeh Prayers
Join us for nightly Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan. These prayers, which take place after Isha, provide a special opportunity to pray in congregation and listen to the recitation of the Qur’an, as we strive to complete its recitation over the month.
Qur’an Recitation and Study Sessions
In line with the traditions of Ramadan, we hold Qur’an recitation and study sessions, where community members can gather to reflect on the meanings of the Qur’an and increase their connection to the Divine. Many participants aim to complete the recitation of the entire Qur’an during this blessed month.
