Admissions

How do I enroll my child at Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah?

To enroll your child, complete our online or paper application form and submit it along with the required documents, including birth certificate and previous school records. Our admissions team will review your application and contact you with next steps.

What are the age requirements for enrollment?

Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah accepts students from 2 1/2 years old for early childhood education, up to high school. Specific age requirements may vary by grade level.

Is there an application deadline for new students?

Applications are accepted year-round, but we recommend submitting early to secure a spot. Priority is given to applications submitted before August 30th.

Are there any entrance exams or interviews?

The principal will interview to understand the student’s academic and behavioral readiness. This helps ensure a supportive learning environment for all students.

What is the tuition fee structure?

How do I apply for financial aid?

Families can apply through our Tuition Assistance application form. Required documents include proof of income and any other information requested by our committee.

Can tuition be paid monthly or quarterly?

No flexible payment plans are available. All payments must be submitted monthly.

Q: What are the office hours?

A: We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00  p.m.

Q: What do I need to bring for Registration?

  • Completed and signed registration packet
  • Birth Certificate
  • Annual Physical
  • IEP (If applicable)
  • Proof of Hepatitis B (Grades 6th-12th)

Q: How is much registration?

A: Total Registration is $50 plus additional fees

  • Book Fee $50
  • Terra Nova Fees $30

Q: What is the school’s uniform policy?

A: School Dress Code (2022-2023)

Q: How much is After Care?

A: After care is $100 per month

Q: How long does After Care last?

A: Until 5:30 p.m.

Q: Do you offer Arabic & Quran classes for students?

A: Yes, it is part of the curriculum.

Q: Does my child have to be fluent in Arabic to attend Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah?

A: No. They will have Arabic homework so it’s good to practice with your child, InshaAllah.

Q: Which Classes are virtual? 

A: All Classes are in person at this time.

Q: Do you offer Lunch?

A: Yes. Inquire application within office.

Q: What can staff and students do to prevent the spread of Covid-19?

A: Make sincere dua to Allah.  After that we can do our part to prevent the spread of Covid by taking serious precautions when it comes to cleanliness. Student’s and staff should wash their hands frequently, maintain 6-feet apart, and wear a mask.

Q: What do I do if my child gets sick with a normal cold or flu?

A: If your child gets sick with a cold, fever, or flu they should remain home but will have to get tested for Covid and return with a clearance paper from the doctor stating test results were negative.

Q: Do you offer transportation?

A: We do not, however, we have transportation forms that can be filled out in order for you to attempt to qualify to be reimbursed for travels.

Q: How are parents made aware of their children’s progress?

A: Gradelink is our student information system.  Parent’s may login to this system to review grades and progress.

Q: Is there a specific enrollment period?

A: No, we are continuously accepting new students.
